A Feb 08 mummy thought I was pregnant again when she read this blog for the first time!?! Haha, realise the header info is misleading and needs to be updated. Taken it down but post it here for memory's sake. ;)
Welcome to the New Piggy Family
After trying for some time, we conceived naturally and tested positive on 25 May 2007. We'll be welcoming a piggy baby to our family on 1 Feb 2008! We are first time parents and first time bloggers, wanted to give baby a diary to read when he/she grows up and share with everyone our experiences... :)

A happening day
RaeAnne experienced many 'firsts' today. She had her first professional hair cut by Hua Xia cos we wanted to do "taimaobi" for her. The calligraphy pen design we chose for the maobi was 'endorsed' by her as she grabbed it out of 3 different pens. Hee. We also brought her swimming at Punggol Plaza, FINALLY convinced hubby. She enjoyed herself but started crying after 10 mins cos she kicked so hard and exhausted herself. Then she had a baby massage. After all that, I bf her and she slept so well in her stroller that hubby and I could have a leisurely late lunch at food court. Heng ah. :)

RaeAnne's 2nd 6-in-1 jab
Poor RaeAnne has fever on Sunday after her 2nd 6-in-1 vaccination on Sat morning. She was quite guai at the clinic, curiously looking around, esp at the mirror behind the sofa. Cried only for a short while when taking the rotavirus medication. The jab was very fast so she didn't notice.
Fed her panadol syrup when we came back at 12+pm and again at 2-3am. So, no fever on Sat but fever started on Sun late morning when hubby is out. Luckily my mum was with me, I was pumping milk when she told me RaeAnne felt a bit hot. Tested with ear thermometer and it was 37.3 but her back and tummy felt quite hot, waited for hubby to come back then gave her panadol syrup. And she spit out 1/3 of it, think the taste wasn't good cos she cried when we forced her to drink. She was listless, and didn't want to drink milk the whole day.
So busy sponging and looking after her that I have no time to pump. Developed a lump/blocked duct on left breast. Ouch ouch! :(

Feb MTB gathering at Kelly's
Went to Kelly's place for gathering, prepared a salad for potluck. Been a long time since I prepared any food from scratch even something as simple as a salad. There were 5 babies altogether. RaeAnne hardly slept and didn't want to drink milk, maybe she was distracted. So, we had to leave early at 3:40pm. RaeAnne went to stay at nai nai house yesterday cos hubby was too tired, and mummy needs some time in the morning to prepare the salad. Of course, nai nai suggested it cos she can't get enough of her one and only favourite granddaughter. Hee. ;)
Yes, by the way, RaeAnne is 4 months old today according to the lunar calendar!! :)
RaeAnne tried out the Bumbo seat at Kelly's place. Think she looks very cute though hubby think she looks more confused than anything. haha. :)
P.S. Thanks Dada for the lovely belated Mother's Day greeting. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw it 4 days later after reading the first one that was all about food. Hee. :)

Happy Mummy's Day!!
Hihi, this is Piggy Daddy.
Piggy Mummy taking a break after all today is Mummy's Day! So Piggy Daddy will do a special post today. :)
Wahh.. today very bz day. Why? Cos Wai Po (that's Mummy Piggy's mummy) came and cook bee hoon with vegetable curry. Wa, very sedap. :)
Later in the afternoon, 2nd aunt and uncle came to see BB Piggy and brought nice nice porridge filled with abalone, scallops, bird nest and many many more (not sure how all these can be put into porridge but it sure taste good!)
Later later in the evening, Piggy Daddy's Dad came and brought pig's throttles with sea cucumber... another makan feast... :)
As with all great festivities, a cake is a must!
So Piggy Daddy bought a nice nice sweet sweet cake for Piggy Mummy on this special day!
Here's the photo!

And wishing Piggy Mummy 'A Wonderful Mummy's Day!!'

BB's hearing test at KKH
Too busy for post for a long time, went back to full day work last week. Went KKH today, luckily baby's hearing normal even though she had a bout of ear infection. :) She screamed and cried very loudy during the hearint test though, only managed to test for right ear but luckily that was the infected ear in the first place. :P Went to Soup Restaurant for dinner after that, our first outing as an extended family. MIL and PIL liked the food which is good. :)
RaeAnne has been flipping very often nowadays, though her arm is still caught. MIL said can't let her sleep on bouncer soon, too dangerous. Hopefully, the bumper playmat I bought will be useful for her to nap in the day. :)
She's also drinking lesser milk nowadays, heat up EBM, end up she either drink a bit then don't want like just now. (110ml left with 70ml) or fuss and don't want to drink although it's her usual 3-3.5hr feeding interval. Don't know why. Maybe she's tired out after today's activity, we were out since 4pm, came back at 7:45pm. She slept after drinking 40ml. :P
Oh ya, we weighed her at the private children's clinic, she is 6.015kg today. A bit diappointed, thought she would have doubled her weight by now. But never mind, healthy more important. :)
